Healing your heartstrings with compassion and respect using intuitive communication and energy work

Lori offering Reiki Energy to Raleigh and Yukon
Animal Reiki
I am a Reiki master. I was trained in the Usui System of Natural Healing. Reiki's origins are thousands of years old and originate in Japan where Dr. Mikao Usui was said to have re-discovered the healing system in the early 1900's. Reiki translates to mean "Universal Life Force Energy".
Reiki is a system of energy healing that is used on humans and animals in a variety of health care settings. Reiki has many uses today and is becoming more widely known to help ease the pain of illness
Reiki helps the physical body relax, and helps heal at all levels It can help clear blockages in energy centers or the "Chakra Centers" in the body (yes, animals have them too) opening the flow of energy helps heal at all levels, emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually
Reiki can bring about a sense of peace to help stress related issues. I find that it calms and soothes both people and animals experiencing pain and illness
It is not uncommon for animal communicators to utilize alternative healing modalities in their animal communication practice. For me, this tool adds to the intuitive process of communicating mentally
Reiki Sessions with Animals
Reiki sessions can be conducted either hands on or offered at a distance.
I become quiet and still, once again asking for permission from the animal to accept the energy where and when they need it.
In a distance session I first "offer" Reiki to the animal asking if they wish to accept the energy. Many times they gladly accept the energy and proceed to absorb just what their bodies need.
Some animals accept Reiki from a distance first, than move over to experience hands on Reiki Sometimes a healing reaction occurs where an animal may seem temporarily worse as the illness leaves the body and recovery begins It can relax upset or agitated animals so they can be touched.
"I asked her to please work on my Cat and he responded so well. She came to Larry a few times a week for Reiki treatments based on his needs. The Reiki was so helpful he would just love it. He was feeling much better with the Reiki sessions and when Lori would come to him would always just turn on his back and just let her do her thing". Read Larry's story
"I'm convinced we never would have gotten her cooperation to move if it wasn't for your distance Reiki sessions". Read about "Leelu's success" on my testimonials page
Clients should know that Reiki Practitioners do not diagnose. If you or your animal friend are having a health issue see a doctor or veterinarian as soon as possible.
I do not focus or urge the energy to any one place, it simply flows to the source of the illness . For scheduling go to the Contact and Fees page
Reiki for Animals in Hospice Settings
Often times when an animal is seriouslly ill, in addition to veterinary care, palliative care can be extremely beneficial to keep them comfortable.
Reiki is a subtle, yet very effective alternative modality to offer an animal during this time of transition.
