When we have lost a member of our dear animal family it can feel like the depth of our loss is unbearable and something that no one can understand. You may feel as though you have
lost a family member and your dearest companion. Unfortunately many of our closest friends may not fully understand what we are going through.
About half of my animal communication consultations are with clients that have lost a beloved animal. Because this time can leave you feeling very
much alone; as if no one understands the emotional and pysical depth of your loss, many people need to connect one last time before they can move on and begin to heal.
Having been through this myself, I understand your pain and incredible sense of loss. It is this empathy based approach I bring to these special consultations to allow you to express the full range of emotions that you may not be able to share anywhere else. This is a time to grieve the loss, remember your love, and heal from pain.
During this time you will have many unanswered questions
and it may help both of you to connect and express your love again.
You may want to share your feelings about those last hours together,
and talk about how the process was for them. Maybe you will simply
want to express your love and wish them a safe journey; this allowing
you to move through your grief process with a little more comfort
and a sense of peace knowing that they are okay.
Each animal communication session is different,
and many beautiful stories have been shown to me. These are always
very poignant and heartfelt as they unfold between client and animal.
Remembering once again that though you are now apart, the love you
shared continues. Read More
Remember to be gentle on yourself during this
process; you will not feel the same again for quite some time, so do not put time limits on your grief.
Pet loss and grief support can be important for you now to help
you work through this painful process. Many client wish to write memorials, and contribute to pet loss message boards. Visit some of the wonderful resources
available that I have included below.

“Dusty”
and the birds
Sometimes animals communicate
very special messages for clients; as happened recently when
I had a session with a client’s dog that had crossed
over. I was shown two small birds in a barn, and when I mentioned
this to the woman she said "Oh, the birds ", when
Dusty became very sick and it was obvious the end was near,
two birds showed up and were there for two days. When Dusty
passed over the birds were gone the same day. I felt they
were there to comfort me she said; I feel so much better now,
knowing he is ok. |
